Sooo.... I'll be in Georgia at my mother-in-law's for the first half of Christmas day, then will be returning to Tallahassee to see my family, and will finish the night by seeing Sherlock Holmes. Monday and Tuesday I'll be helping my sister move, and the rest of the week I'll be doing research for Noir (I always do most of my research and fact-checking after the first draft). I may even mess around with the middle grade fantasy I'm planning, which I just plotted out the other day.
What are your plans for the holidays? Do you get extra time off? Any writing goals?
I'm taking a few days off next week. Not traveling, just want to stay home and play with my new geek toys!
ReplyDeleteYou will so dig Sherlock Holmes!!
Hope you have a fantastic week. Sounds like a busy one.
ReplyDeleteI'm still grooving on the older Holmes. Love those. Even started a Sherlock quiz on my blog. So fun.
Have a great week.
I want to see Sherlock Holmes!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've got a lot going on for you this holiday, and I hope you have a lot of fun. Don't research too hard! (:
Sounds like you have a busy rest of the year. I hope your holiday and break from work are awesome. =o)
ReplyDeleteNo big plans here - just working to hit 50K for the month like I promised myself.
Well.... I put in for two weeks off, but have yet to hear. *fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteI'm not really doing anything much. I just love being home during the holidays, surrounded by a decorated house and sipping coffee from my Christmas mugs. Pretty sappy horror writer, right? ;)
I'll be busy networking, beginning my third book and hanging out with the family.
Enjoy your time off, Alexia, and Happy Holidays!

Hope you have a great Christmas break... Brainstorming a new story plot is such a good idea:) Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteWow, you are going to be busy this holiday season! Enjoy the time with family.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to continue to clean and eliminate the clutter around here and get the office ready for my Christmas present that I'm getting the end of the month. A new desk. I've also got several books that I'm planning on starting to read very soon.
Merry Christmas!
